Dear friends,
We are writing with heavy but honest hearts to share that the Songwriters Summit for Resilience (January 31–February 1, 2026) will need to be canceled this year.
We are deeply grateful to each of you who registered and said yes to this gathering. Your trust, enthusiasm, and willingness to step into a weekend of music, vulnerability, and connection truly mean so much to us. We were so looking forward to sharing songs in circle, late-night jams, nourishing meals, and that particular kind of joy that only happens when artists come together with open hearts.
Unfortunately, we did not receive enough registrations to make the event viable this year. While this was not an easy decision, it is the most responsible one for everyone involved. Please know how dearly we will miss the heartfelt exploration, creative risk-taking, and shared resilience that this weekend always brings. This gathering has been such a meaningful tradition for us, and even in its absence this year, the spirit of it remains very much alive.
All registrations will, of course, be fully refunded, and Circle Pines Center will be in touch shortly with those details.
Thank you again for your support, your belief in this work, and for being part of a community that understands the power of song as medicine. We truly hope to sing with you in the future and to gather again when the time is right.
With gratitude and care,
Dede Alder
